Pros

There are really wonderful people that work here.The day to day interactions with co-workers was what made this job acceptable. The work is interesting, if you can get on to the right project.

Cons

There is rhetoric that you will be working on interesting projects and pushing the boundaries of art and technologies, but it isn't true. Smashing Ideas is very good at producing mediocre content. The upper management is inflexible in their ideas and don't allow time to be innovative.

Pros

They hire people who are really good at what they do and who will say nothing is impossible. Good to work alongside people of that caliber. The projects are usually pretty varied and interesting, unless you're stuck on a single account.

Cons

You have to work to make sure everything is possible no matter how impossible it is. No work-life balance. Pays lower than many companies. Seems like it used to be a fun work environment, but that's faded. Flat. No heirarchy. No mentoring. Nowhere to advance.
