Pros

It's in my town. the postion paid well. Good emphasis on safety

Cons

Management does not plan projects well. By the time it gets to engineering or techs it is often rushed. You mostly don't know whats up till just a day or so away. In between there is so much down time before the next wave. I was let go from the job and I accept that but even that could have gone better knowing the that the team would be hurt as well.

SMECO is a great company to work within. They have a tremendous benefits package and a commitment to employee health and well being.
