The expectation is to work at least 45 hours a week despite the handbook saying 40 hours with occasional overtime. Management will call and ask why you only worked 40 hours before they approve your time sheet and remind you that free overtime is mandatory. No respect when it comes to contacting you after hours. Health insurance is embarrassingly bad for a company so “reputable”. The rest of the industry sees it as a sweat shop. You likely won’t make close to your market value as your tenure progresses, yet management wonders why the turnover rate is the highest it’s ever been. Hard pass on the new CEO.
