Pros

A large amount of responsibility early on. Not much hand holding, but I prefer that style of environment. Management cares about employees. I'm not sure why some of the reviews here say they don't. I had a great boss - informed us of everything and helped us be better business professionals and to think strategically. I learned a lot - more than I thought at the time!

Cons

Steep learning curve and some people are challenging to work with. The only reason I left was to move locations.

The people are great, high-energy, talented and they really care about the clients they serve. There is a unique culture that places high value on trust, communication and people care. There are countless opportunities to make a difference in your clients, the people you work for and in yourself.

Cons

The opportunities are great, but SmithBucklin demands the best from all of its employees. To be successful at SmithBucklin, you need to be flexible, resilient, resourceful with mental toughness. It's a great place to work, but it isn't for everyone.

Business-casual attire, pretty strict 8:30-5pm workday, workout facility on-site, employee owned stock program, awesome office location, cafeteria on-site

Cons

No shorts in the summer, new employee referral bonus is very low compared to others, not a lot of inter-team mingling
