Pros

SmithBucklin manages more than 300 associations, so there are a lot of opportunities for exposure to and interaction with clients of different industries, goals, personalities, etc.

Cons

It's easy for people to fall into the trap of working in silos because there are so many clients. However, the company (and employees, for that matter) does do a good job of trying to keep communication open and build camaraderie.

Pros

Location and meet other young professionals.

Cons

Horrible salary. Management never approaches an issue head on, rather they talk about you to other co-workers hoping someone will confront the situation. The majority of management are down right lazy and push work off to the associates and coordinators - who essentially run the company's day-to-day work. Overall unfulfilling and not challenging.
