Pros

This is a great place to start your career especially in event planning. You are given the opportunity to work with many different clients in different industries. The coworkers will keep you around once you have mentally checked-out of this place.

Cons

All upper management has been at the company for over 20 years. They are trying to modernize but I find it nearly impossible when every manager has only worked at one company for their entire lives. There is absolutely NO DIVERSITY. They starting salary is not enough to live in Chicago. If you are entering the work force and have other job offers please consider those before you accept a position here.

You’ll get a lot of opportunities to work on various projects not usually given to individuals in entry level positions.

Cons

Over worked and underpaid, poor work-life balance. Trusted with many high importance jobs requiring extra time commitments. Staff is encouraged not to work long hours, yet long hours are required for successful completion. Asking for help is not an option since all staff at all levels is stretched thin. Overall, need restructuring.
