Very productive environment. Interaction with a large community of astronomers covering all the branches of astronomy. Prestigious institution with large international visibility.

Cons

Too big and sometimes too dispersive. Almost impossible to progress your career from simple temporary postdoc with no benefits to full-time permanent employee with benefits.
