Hold middle-management accountable

Pros

Selling a good product, recognizable company name to clients, equity vested over 4 years upon sign on

Cons

Inconsistent middle management, teams within the same business unit or treat differently on different metrics pay close attention to who your manager is as there is zero accountability and managers are given full power to hire and fire accordingly without oversight. They don’t give PIPs, they just give full autonomy to the manager to just let you go without warning as happened to several different female colleagues of mine at the company. And they wonder why they have a diversity problem.

Pros

Great perks, some employees are actual humbled and kind. Ok office space

Cons

Being an SE is really doing pre and post sales in one. You are customer success. The role is definitely underpaid compared to other companies who split their SE and have customer success team. Not much diversity.
