Pros

-Great at providing ethical and authentic therapy for children with autism- not just another company looking for money, but really care about this population as the CEO's have experience in the healthcare system and with those with Autism personally -Great pay in my opinion as well as benefits -Amazing resources that they provide for employees, just within the first few months I worked there, I heard a speaker who was very passionate and leading in the research of ABA, there was also many employee bonding gatherings, and many opportunities to learn from those above me -I really appreciated the team work that was provided there- those leading us RBT's really seemed to care about our work and how well we were doing/understanding everything and throughout our entire hire process. I felt like I had a lot of support and places to go for help. Also got a lot of support and mentorship from the Speech and Occupational therapists. There were so many opportunities to grow from! Overall I'd give Soar 5 stars for being one of the better places of providing ABA from their community to their resources to their compassion and care they gave the families and children!

Cons

-This isn't about Soar in particular, but just if you're new to ABA/RBT work. It can be quite emotionally and physically demanding, so make sure you're truly dedicated and ready for the job. These children really need a community that's committed and care so please prepare yourself as such or else I'd advise to look somewhere else. -Lunches can be quite quick at times if it is short staffed, so make sure to bring plenty of water/snacks. Soar was pretty awesome at bringing in snacks/lunch for employees on certain days which was so helpful. Just make sure to keep your energy level up. -Training was quite quick for new RBTs (only like two and a half weeks in my case) which I thought was a lot to take in if your new to the job to be tested as an RBT. I wish they kept the training at three weeks though I don't know if they've changed this since. I think it would be beneficial for everyone if they did because it's a lot of information to be tested on in order to become an RBT. Not only are you tested on what is required of the state of RBT's, but you're also tested on what Soar as a company requires that you know. I think this is great that you know both as Soar has many values that are amazing, but just think more time should be given to study.

Pros

Soar was created with a very sincere mission and a lot of the people working here are doing it out of love for the kids. The work is rewarding and you are likely to find some very compassionate and helpful people among your coworkers.

Cons

Soar is a rapidly expanding company, which means growing pains in the form of frequent roll-outs and updates and a high rate of hiring to cover regular turnover plus new centers. Expect some hiccups while you learn to master the logistics in the first few weeks, but if you can then you will likely find a fairly good community dedicated to helping our kiddos learn,
