Pros

Used to be performing well, that is no longer the case so there are no pros left to working here

Cons

Leadership is encouraging favorable reviews to do damage control. There is no accountability for last round of layoffs. They lie internally to employees. The company can’t even maintain current staff, revenue is way down and tanking. There is an external PR campaign to try to shine light away from how all growth has stalled. Clients are unhappy and pulling back at breakneck speed. It’s a Ponzi scheme of a company now only living off the cash left in the bank. On top of it all leadership does not take accountability for anything. The hard work and start up mentality only applies to those below leadership level to do all the work. No respect, no inclusivity. All the reviews are correct, this is not the place for people with diverse backgrounds. Immoral on all levels.

Cons

Some metrics still tracked manually Conservatism by some business support teams stunts GTM motions OKR quality varies by team Grew too fast and quality of hires (as seen by some of the reviews) suffered.

Pros

Socure is an extremely innovative company; daily I feel I'm surrounded by very sharp, very motivated peers looking to solve challenging problems. The product truly is industry leading and its very well received in the market. I love the complexities of our solutions as they force me to expand my knowledge on a daily basis. Massively collaborative sales and account management teams, with people genuinely willing and able to help. Aggressive compensation plans. Opinions matter here and management is willing to listen, evaluate, and make changes when and if they are needed. Despite the pandemic, Socure put serious effort into providing opportunities for our teams to meet up, build rapport, share laughs and enjoy ourselves. It's a fun place to work. Fast paced for sure, but very rewarding. Culturally, all are respected and welcomed. Holidays and PTO policies are fantastic, as are the benefits - Socure places heavy emphasis on employee education and has gone above and beyond in this arena.

Cons

The subject matter can be complex - you will be challenged on a daily basis, but the rewards are high. Covid created struggles in terms of in person meet ups, but I don't feel our situation was by any means unique. As the company grows I'm hopeful we can maintain that startup mentality.
