Pros
Peers are supportive. Mon-Fri banker hours are cool, with holidays off. CalPERS retirement for pension is a plus.
Cons
Terrible management and leadership in E&E division. Constantly understaffed and overworked with caseload numbers. Training department is hideous. They never train nor do they hire. The amount of communication from top to bottom is close to zero. They hardly give reasonable COLA increases. The processes and procedures for getting your work done are so outdated and cumbersome. The lack of streamlined processing and technology here is embarrassing.
