Pros

There is absolutely nothing positive I can say about Solera.

Cons

Nearly 3 years ago, they put the people who actually know what they are doing into non-customer facing positions and put idiots into coordinator positions. These people come off as Yes Men. They say yes "things are going just fine" to things just so the manager will move on in the meeting even if they're not going just find. Due to the lack of knowledge from the coordinators, those of us that actually know what we are doing have to pick up the slack and save the day constantly. The coordinators will give inaccurate information to customers and then it falls back on once again, the people who actually know what they are doing. The scariest part about it is that the coordinators think they have it figured out. Meanwhile our customer base is fleeing in droves as well as all the employees who know what they are doing. They also have on 2 occasions made us go through the process of doing self reviews for merit increases and then they end up going nowhere or we just don't hear about it again. My salaried position is also supposed to have bonuses, I haven't received a bonus in nearly 4 years, despite me being a top performer.

Pros

Get to work from home. Other employees are great

Cons

During the last 3 years of rampant inflation I haven't had even a 1% despite meeting and exceeding set goals. Company does not backfill jobs. So if you apply with Solera, don't expect a call!!

Pros

Nothing to report on this

Cons

Leadership Issues: Poor leadership approach characterized by ineffective communication—leaders often talk at employees rather than engaging with them. Lack of Expertise and Curiosity: Leadership demonstrates little understanding of key business segments and shows no interest in learning or improving processes to address these gaps. Micromanagement Over Strategy: There is an overreliance on micromanagement to achieve revenue goals, despite customer satisfaction being at an all-time low. Billing and Finance Dysfunction: The finance department has significant unresolved collections from the past year, and customers face major challenges reaching billing support to resolve issues. 401(k) Match Concerns: The 401(k) match is discretionary and unreliable. Despite being a full quarter past the fiscal year-end, the company continues to delay payment with vague promises and no firm commitment. Toxic and Inauthentic Culture: The company promotes a motivational, “go-get-’em” culture in meetings, but it feels disingenuous as there is little belief or follow-through. No effort is made to develop better processes to improve customer experiences or help employees feel valued.
