Pros

Work from home is the only positive.

Cons

Workload has more than tripled in past nine month, no raise. No bonus last year or this year, as promised. No 401K match. Work life balance is non existent. No flexibility-unless you are in the clique. Management treats you as a number, not a person. It’s a production line, member care is non existent. Member doesn’t answer, keep calling until they do. Member doesn’t want to participate, keep calling week after week. Member asked for no more calls, keep calling. 3-4 layoffs in past several months, starting at the top and working down the line. Morning meetings are a joke, it’s just a check off box for management.Employees are questions or voice their concerns, no answer. And they “layoffs” staff was given less than. 24 hours that they were no longer employed. And I can assure you these “five star ratings” raving about an awesome company, are coming in from the very top leaders to get the numbers up. Everyday staff signs in not knowing if they are still employed due to “layoffs

Pros

When the company started 8 years ago they cared for kidney patients.

Cons

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been working with patients with chronic kidney disease for over 15 years. They need support through dialysis and transplant and are vulnerable. Somatus is in it for the money. They've gone through several large layoffs that negatively impact the patients they allegedly care for and leave dedicated staff with no job and no recourse. Leadership from the top down is unethical and line their own pockets. I know so many other value based kidney care companies that hate Somatus for valid reasons. I was drawn to the company based on their alleged values, but I experienced none. We were overworked and underappreciated with ZERO support from management. We were dispensable. When I tried to share constructive feedback or ideas for improving processes, I was shut down and got the message quickly that Somatus wants "yes" people. Senior leadership is sexist and snobby - they dismiss lower level employees.
