      Pros

      On a day-to-day basis, I get to work with amazing talent across the company. I have never felt as professionally challenged - in a good way - as I have in my time at SonderMind. My supervisor could be not more supportive of my growth and development at the company, and my peers are genuine thought partners. Salary, health benefits and PTO are great. I love being able to work remote and not having to commute as it allows me to have a better work-life balance than I've had at previous jobs.

      Cons

      It's a fast-growing company - and that's just not for everyone. There's turn-over, but that's to be expected at a company that has grown so much. Those who signed up for a 50 employee company may not be as interested anymore once there are 300 employees.

      Good people, decent culture, many growing pains

      Very committed coworkers Exciting market opportunities, HUGE recent growth Challenging technical problems to work on

      Cons

      Still figuring out most HR/internal processes/org structure /leveling questions (due to recent growth) Decent amount of turnover, but not unexpected for a startup

      This is what high-growth feels like

      Pros

      A compelling, important mission. Smart, compassionate, highly qualified, committed people. Leadership that genuinely tries to balance caring for people, growing the business, and staying mission-aligned. That is really hard to do. A commitment to hybrid work - even though it's a hard transition. If you want to experience a true growth-stage company with an important mission and a great team, buckle up.

      Cons

      Rocketships can't gain altitude this quickly without busting apart at the seams a little bit. It can be an uncomfortable ride sometimes. Not everyone is cut out for this stage of growth: it's no longer a startup, and it's not quite mature. It requires deep resilience and long-term orientation. There are no shortcuts; what worked at your last startup won't necessarily work here. The pace of growth and change can outpace some people. You have to know what you're signing up for.
