Great Culture - Meaningful Work

Pros

Great place to work. Great teammates who help each other to support our mission. Our customers and their customers are very demanding but the work is very rewarding.

Cons

Schedules during outage season can be very hectic but management and colleagues are very supportive when time off is necessary.

Pros

Competitive wages in the Nuclear Industry with a decent amount of time off. Promotions are available inside of the first year. Jobsites are located through the US and travel expenses are taken care of by the company.

Cons

The project dates vary and are not year round.

I feel the promotion schedule is one of the most enticing aspects of working at SSI. Knowing that just after 2-3 outages I could receive a promotion and pay bump is a great motivation.

Is truly a team atmosphere where people share information, welcome new team members to help learn the business, and open to new ideas.

I have not encountered any cons worth mentioning at this point.
