Lots of passion but equally unorganized, overpowering loud voices

Pros

Many smart, dedicated people with full of passion about music, experience and products. Many of the company perks were gone since the layoff and financial difficulties, but there's the desire to be still high-spirited and to still do the good work. Generally respectful and candid work environment with a few critical catches.

Cons

Going through a massive growth pain with inexperienced management and unorganized product development system. While promoting 'transparency', it's rather on the surface level. The deep culture is a bit cultish and still depends heavily on a few legacy guru, diva, and executives for most of the decision making. Lack of nurturing to grow talents within. Once hired, there isn't much of growth plan or support system in place. Some people who have been around long years tend to create conflict and tension by forcing the old, dated ways of dominating with loud voices and posturing, which creates the negative impact for culture. And the leadership is largely just ignorant on those misbehaviors.

Pros

WFH if you want to, was a cool brand for a while

Cons

Minimal bonus payout for the last few years, terrible executive leadership, external consultants causing chaos, limited product discounts (2 or 3 50% off codes per year), very few opportunities for career growth.

Pros

Descent Pay with Annual Bonus + Stock Options Great Benefits Flexible work schedule & Unlimited Time Off (which are cons too)

Cons

Long Working hours - never expect an 8 to 5 (9-hour work schedule), not only you but your manager, skip level boss, peers, literally everyone works from morning 7 to night 11 everyday (including weekends sometimes) Be ready to compromise evening family time Flexible work schedule and unlimited (open) time off are the biggest scams No work-life balance, only work-work balance !!!
