Pros

Company has better than average benefits. For examples, you can accrue up to 40 days of vacation days, 12 holiday days plus an additional 4 discretional holiday days over Xmas and New Year. Company offers green program such as subsidizing commuter train/bus, vanpool, inventive to purchase alternate fuel vehicle and home solar. Free movie screening. See movie stars.

Cons

Company's overall revenue has been declining from poor performances at the box office due to management's poor decision on movie choices. This results to outsourcing of great jobs to overseas.

Don't expect growth, or competent leadership

Pros

You work at a movie studio. Discounts on Sony products and its in Culver City. Screenings each week.

Cons

No raises in the 5 years I worked there, even though new and bigger responsibilities were given to me. Dept management were completely inexperienced in the dept itself and in managing all together and managed based on metrics as opposed to listening to employers feedback or knowing what they were actually doing. Blame would be placed in employees for managements mistakes. You can do 100 things right but one small thing done wrong and you are no longer looked at positively yet the same senior managers that cause the problems keep getting promoted. Growth is non-existent unless you are in managements inner circle, if your not then expect to go nowhere. Layoffs and "reorganizations" occur yearly due to Sony executives greenlighting poor performing movies year after year.

Pros

Various diversity clubs are available, multiple options for food, free movie screenings.

Cons

Lack of transparency by leadership teams, office politics, employee hotline that doesn't get back to you.
