      the IT department and Business Enterprise & Corporate Technology have no clue what they are doing.

      Close to where I live, carries a good brand name

      even If you are offered a million dollor job just run, I had been hired to work on Lotus Notes Migration to SharePoint, and part of my job was to analyse the requiremnts, the Enterprise & Corporate Technology is like your neighbors from hell! Sony is no longer a cool rich Japanese company, most employees are hired because they asked for lowest possible salaries, the level of professionalisem is extremly low, mostly managed from offices of Sony in Inida now, the company tries to copy what TimeWarner does. with tours around the studioes - which are mostly empty!

      Pros

      SPE is a great place to work - depending on the division and mgmt team - like any place else. There are good, qualified people, there are not so good and qualified - like any place else.

      Cons

      There are questionable promotions. Limited ability to grow, and further career.
