The town is only 50,000 people and it is very conservative.

Pros

While I can't speak for other positions, working in the IT Department was a great learning experience. I was given the freedom to expand my talents so long as the task at hand was completed, and the atmosphere was great. Management always worked with people as much as possible.

Cons

As a student, you are limited to 20 hours or less per week, excluding rare bouts of overtime. Inter-department communication can be lacking at times, but still friendly. No opportunity for growth as a student.
