      Pros

      It is an awesome company to work at. There is plenty of rewarding challenge and growth opportunities for those willing to put all their passion at work. We do live by our core values and we have a clear mission and vision. Leadership is available and open for suggestions. I’m based on our TUC office and we are probably the best place to work in town. One of the best things is the awesome work environment. There is talented individuals everywhere you look, and they are all willing to help you and share their knowledge with you. Another very cool thing is how Sovos keeps everyone informed about the status of the company, it’s goals, achievements and action plans. Maybe I’m not objective because I’ve been with the company from the beginning of my career, but I feel I’ve always been treated fairly, respectfully, and I’ve been given plenty of chances to grow professionally and personally. I definitely recommend Sovos to anyone looking for a challenge and an great work experience.

      Cons

      Being adaptable is a requirement. Pace is very fast and it requires a lot of flexibility. As the company is constantly growing both organically and through M&A, there is always some investment of energy on getting acquired companies on board.

And you are right, being adaptable is one of our core values for a very important reason. We are constantly growing, and it does require that we invest a lot of time and resources to integrating newly acquired companies effectively. From the moment that we acquire a new company, those employees become an integral part of Sovos. It is important to us that our new colleagues are set up for success. These investments in growth have allowed us to expand our global reach and get a step closer on our mission to Solve Tax For Good!
