Firstly, I'm glad to hear that you appreciate the camaraderie among our team members, as well as our flexible work policies. The people of Sovos truly make this company special.
First, your comments about a lot of leadership change is spot on. To pull off the kind of transformation that our 100s of thousands of customers, hundreds of partners, and thousands of Sovos employees not only NEED, but very much WANT, change is needed. And not just leadership, but everywhere, at all levels and parts of the Company. Change can be difficult for some, that’s always true, but it’s always necessary when you are re-committing to be the industry leader for your clients, partners, and employees.
We hear from thousands of employees constantly how much they appreciate and value our commitment to regain the throne and once again be the true innovator in the industry. They acknowledge the ‘heavy lift’ we have committed to on behalf of our clients and the industry, and not only do they appreciate it, they are energized by it. It's truly remarkable to witness our global team exemplifying our core values daily, including professionalism, adaptability, inclusivity, proactivity, collaboration, and accountability. Sovos culture is stronger than ever, and it has reinforced and strengthened what is already a vibrant and tightly knit community. These values aren't just words; they're our culture in action. Bottomline our employees love our culture, are proud of it, and actively commit to making it better and stronger daily.
And again, make no mistake, over 100,000 Sovos customers and hundreds of Sovos partners very clearly understand and WANT us to execute this strategy as fast as possible. The customers who buy our solutions no longer want to live in a world where they must invest in people, process, and system integrations across multiple not-at-scale, non-integrated, regional technology solutions that are different by use case, line of business, and country – they want us to – they demand that we – make changes.
Our clients, partners – and our employees! – have made it clear that they don’t want to stay status quo and lag the industry – they want us to deliver what we have spent a decade building. To deliver on this, it takes innovation, transformation and fortitude. This kind of rapid pace of change comes with challenges. It’s not for everyone and we understand that some folks will opt out. We never like to lose team members, but we understand when they decide that this innovation journey just isn’t for them. And just to be clear on the facts, we are investing more in people than we ever have in the company’s history - a lot more. While we are being purposeful about our hiring, just like every single other technology company in the world, there is no freeze. We have hired over 200 new Sovosians this Fiscal Year, made hundreds more promotions, and will continue to do.
