Pros

Almost everyone you work with is smart, motivated, and willing to work hard. Every job has little to no red tape, and a high level of autonomy. You get to see the fruits of your labor a few months after you start a project.

Cons

Working here takes significant sacrifice (time and energy), but it's not as bad as people say it is.

Good money (relative to what I was earning before, much higher average starting pay for a supply Chain major) Everyone is nice and chill, nobody has an ego or an attitude, everyone is willing to help The job requires my brain to fire on all cylinders making time fly by It impresses the ladies I learn a lot (I’m learning more here in 3 months than I did in four years of college) People in public walk up to you if you’re seen wearing a spacex shirt You get to see rockets fire off into space with your own eyes Cafeteria food is good, free snacks and cappuccinos Did I say it makes you look cool?

Cons

50 hours a week mandatory even though your work may already be done Slow times between projects leaving me not enough work to do (which makes it boring sometimes)

Pros

Exciting problems, hard work is 100% recognized which isn't always the case at other companies. I get to work with some of the smartest people as well. Awesome culture - and coworkers make the work hours fly by.

Cons

Definitely an environment that requires hard work and long hours at times - can be difficult to find a balance but it is possible.
