I get so excited as I drive into work. Coming off the 105 at Crenshaw, I see one of our flight-proven rockets standing proudly outside SpaceX headquarters, alongside the Tesla design studio. It seems like we break a world record every month, and I couldn't be more proud of the company or the role I play. Material planning is a high-profile, cross functional position that plays an integral role in ensuring we meet our launch schedule - which means that we have an open slate to do whatever is necessary to meet that launch schedule. From working with executives and helping a production engineer improve material flow, to developing strategic supply chains, make/buy decisions, managing inventory and WIP levels, there is so much to do, and everything we do directly impacts making SpaceX the leading rocket launcher in the world.
