Pros

Potential is there if investment is provided.

Cons

Investment has not be done for many many years. Shows no signs of changing. They're trying to sell the company and they're not doing a good job of it as it is taking quite a long time.

Pros

Interesting products,challenging work, very capable engineering staff

Cons

Management purports to use data to make decisions, however, most are made based on personality of the presenter. Backbiting, and working outside the chain of command are the rule of the day since a re-organization that has resulted in less communication and "silo-ing" of responsibilities.

Lip service to positive culture change.

Cons

Political promotions of individuals that have accomplished nothing while paying over long term performers. Zero respect for manufacturing support, zero respect for any employee from before the buyout. Owned by Cerberus, read the NY TIMES article on what they did to Remington, roadmap of what is happening at Sparton.
