Pros

The only pros are the money and work-life balance.

Cons

Toxic work environment, no room for growth unless someone higher up quits, no support from upper management, racist, no diversity whatsoever, HR is absolutely useless and does not advocate for employees when struggling.

Pros

You will learned LOTS! The clinical experience indeed enhances and develops your counseling and addiction skills & knowledge. If you can survive working at Spectrum, you can survive anything!

Cons

Senior leadership lacks true connection with frontline staff. If they don't like you, they'll see a way to get you out of there through pettiness.

Pros

Working with inmates, sometimes people think when they hear you work in a prison that the inmates are bad no it’s the workers from spectrum.

Cons

The PTO is awful, management has no idea what they are doing and play favoritism, and this company showed no support during the cornavirus and made stuff choose their job or child, the turn over rate is by far the worst I have ever seen l, by 3 months you’ll be considered a senior staff because most likely the person who has trained you has quit. Every other month a staff is leaving, I’m convinced the only time one that makes a decent salary is Earl, if the contractors and recipients of their services knew how bad the employees get treated I’m sure they would refrain from their services, make sure you document everything to protect yourself because when an audit comes mangement will stab you in the back. If there a lock down after your shift you will not be paid. If you reach out to the CEO with concerns he will literally not be responsive but acts as if he’s so supportive and can’t respond to his employees shows a lot. Payroll messes up constantly especially when you get a raise or bonus stay on top of them or they will not increase it.
