Pros

The Spectrum is very structured with a client focused, evidence based curriculum. Supervisors are supportive and actively engaged in team development with skill building and professional critiques to address challenges and well as utilizing positive motivation to maintain congruence with the RSAT team.

Cons

All documentation is hand written and maybe illegible when reviewing charts. Some groups are extremely large and unmanageable.

Pros

Work experience is great. Extensive trainings are offered. Exposure to the field of addiction is a plus if you are committed to the work. Clinical supervision and certification are offered and required.

Cons

Program mismanagement, increased work load for counselors and some supervisors. Management does not listen to staff resulting in extremely high turnover. Pay could be better.
