Pros

This place used to be amazing. There are no shortage of good smart people to work with each day.

Cons

The last year and a half has been done with super limited resources that make it hard for you to get your job done and then done well. Teams are constantly under staffed. The company has also changed to a sales org over the last year drastically, losing the relationship with its users which originally made it successful and special.

Pros

They have a beautiful office and have great benefits.

Cons

This place is a shell of what it used to be. They set quotas way to high and don't seem to care about their employees like they used to.

I'm sorry to hear you feel that our quotas are too high. Our hope is that everyone can meet their quotas but as with every sales organization that I'm aware of, that just doesn't happen for many reasons. We're in the midst of setting our '17 quotas and the sales leadership and sales finance teams are taking a very thorough and thoughtful approach to getting this right. I also need to point out that we ask our employees to not share confidential, non-public internal company information. Glassdoor asks the same in their community guidelines. Your statement of "your whole sales floor is under 60%" is both non-public internal company info -- and flat out wrong. I won't share the exact number publicly but a majority of our team is over 60% and even much, much higher than that. And I'm thrilled for all of the team members who have made, and even crushed, their numbers this year. I'm happy to go through the details with you in person ... or you can see your manager or our sales finance team. As I always say, I have an open door and as you are still here I'd welcome the change to discuss in person.

You are correct, we've evolved and we're not the same business we were 5 years ago ... or even 1 year ago. As I've suggested in other responses no business should "be what it used to be". At it's core though we remain dedicated to our mission to help IT pros do their job better every day. And we remain dedicated to our culture of hiring passionate & creative people who like to get stuff done -- with other good people whom they look forward to working with every day. I'm glad you pointed out that we have intelligent and friendly people. I'm surprised you also thought there "quite a few unfriendly people". We're usually able to sort out those situations. I don't follow the 'grasping at straws' comment. We have a lot of experience in IT and advertising and in terms of Austin start-ups we have gotten to a scale few have seen. We've explained the changes we're making and we finished '16 on a high note and have a great start on 2017.
