Pros

Good product to work on

Cons

Worst leadership I worked for. Was super excited to join the team because of the technology and the product. But the way management treats employees, took all my desire to work and even go to work. Had to switch. Here is a statistic , in my less than an year I saw 8 people leave in the technical team and it's a team of 20+ people !

Thank you for your feedback about our innovative new product. As you may be aware, Spok was recently rated #1 for secure communications for the 4th consecutive year by Black Book. This is an important achievement for software designed to support clinical communications for the patient care teams. It’s no surprise you were drawn to the innovative technology being utilized by Spok. However, as the pandemic hit in March of this year, much about the work and the environment was impacted when we were confronted with COVID-19, especially since more than 2,000 of our customers are hospitals and healthcare systems. In order to better meet the needs of our healthcare customers, Spok leaders made changes in plans and priorities that may have felt disruptive to you and others. We know that this was especially challenging for new employees who were trying to develop their relationships with managers and coworkers in a “work from home” arrangement where all communications were and remain online. While we have deployed numerous collaboration tools for our teams to utilize during this unprecedented time, we understand that virtual communications are not the same as the collaboration that may occur when working side by side. We look forward to a time when we are back in an office environment, however for now we are committed to keeping our employees and communities safe with a work from home posture. We value our relationships with our employees and are making efforts to continuously improve our communications and collaboration. Thank you again for your feedback and best wishes for success in your new role.
