Pros

* True Remote-First Culture: Never felt pressured to go into the office * Decent Compensation: Salary and benefits are... satisfactory. * Many engineers care about best practices and advocate for positive changes in the codebase. * Less bureaucracy: As a small company, there is less red tape, though it's not completely absent. * Work-Life Balance: Used to be good, but has been deteriorating amidst the scramble to save the company.

Cons

* Recent 20% staff reduction * Ongoing Silent Layoffs: Folks frequently fired for 'performance reasons' * Incompetent Engineers: Promotions are based on seniority and politics rather than performance, and people are often fired for going against the grain * Lack of Diversity, especially among engineers/leadership. Practically zero female representation. D&I efforts are lip service at best

Despite recently having to make the tough decision to part ways with some teammates, we continue to be bullish about the future. - Very good team culture - Exposure to lot of new and latest technology stack - Very Good compensation and perks - Work life balance due to flexible timings - If you are eager to learn, then sky is the limit - Data driven company and lot of emphasis on quality of data which is good foundation for any data warehousing project
