Pros

Some Spotify teams have a good culture. Receiving stock options at a low strike price makes for good compensation. There are many opportunities to work on interesting problems.

Cons

Not all teams are equal. Management in some business areas are too focused on politics. This can result in people and product coming second to politics. Salary growth and promotions rely entirely on self-advocacy and manager.
