Pros

I believe the most important thing in Spreetail is its culture! Spreetail is individuals and teams, that are driving real results in an extremely trusted environment and relentless manner, to pursue challenges by raising their bar, while acting like an owner, practicing humility and making Spreetail better. Working in Spreetail will not be easy for those who are accustomed to monotonous and routine work, does not show initiative and goes with the flow. Growth is everywhere and new opportunities are coming up in areas where no one thought of yesterday. Since I've started Spreetail has grown one and a half times, but it is just a beginning as we need a lot of great talents to contribute to company's success. Very high level of trust in employees and no micromanagement whatsoever. I felt it from the very first day. Also very important is that the attitude towards all is professional and no familiarity or unhealthy attention at all. In addition, management at all levels is very interested in both professional and personal growth of each employee. I've been through various leadership develpment trainings. At Spreetail personal and professional development is highly welcomed and encouraged. Variety of book clubs, development programs and trainings are happening at any given time. If you think that leadership is not for you rest assured you will have the opportunity to make an impact through what you do best. And if you want to lead people you, you can not find a better place. Just show your desire and passion. But it will not be easy. The company is working in a highly competitive industry and you will have to stretch yourself and constantly raise your bar.

Cons

In Spreetail, there is no concept of working hours for many employees, but putting long hours is not the news. You will have to revise some priorities. It is clear that this is not suitable for everyone and Spreetail is OK with this. However, Spreetail is getting better on figuring out better work/life balance for its employees.

Pros

I've grown immensely as both a person and professional during my time at Spreetail. Spreetail dumps investment into its employees in the form of leadership opportunities, new challenges, stock appreciation rights, and fun things like the summer company trip. The leadership team does a great job of pointing talent in the right direction and then getting out of their way, which has given me the chance to take on challenges I didn't even know existed. I've also been able to find my own passion at Spreetail, wearing 3 or 4 different hats until I found the right one that fits my strengths and interests. I was given the freedom and even encouraged to spend time in other areas to ensure I was on my ideal career path.

Cons

Working at Spreetail is a sacrifice - we take big risks that add a lot of stress and work lean, requiring everyone to pitch in on the "grunt work". I certainly would like to spend more time at home with my family, but it takes time and effort to keep up at such a high-growth company.

Pros

-Yearly trips to places all over the country for hitting goals (We've hit them every year I've been here) -Young culture that isn't set in their ways. If you have an idea to better the business, you can be taken seriously if you can back your ideas up with numbers -Great benefits -Fun/Casual atmosphere -Business participates in local community outreach and encourages all employees to help where they can

Cons

-Work/Life Balance- 45 hour work week minimum can be tough if you have children or other priorities -Ecommerce/Retail can be a little soulless at times -Business lacks a strong "Why?" which keeps people motivated. From what I can see, our "Why?" is to grow and make money. (To be fair, most companies also lack a compelling "Why?")
