Good company overall

Pros

Nice team, good culture, exciting growth. Above average pay for warehouse workers. Expect overtime every week though (many people like it). But you don’t get to mess around during the day. When they ask you to work hard they mean it. It comes with lots of perks including team outings, beer Fridays, company trips, internal classes and trainings and some kind of stock options.

Cons

They have big goals in mind and they ain’t gonna stop because of you. If you are looking for a 8 to 5 job look elsewhere. Even if you think you are a hard worker, be prepared for some issues with your work-life balance.

Take your seat on a rocket ship

Pros

We don't waste time on the aspects of business that can hold back and restrict potential (bureaucracy, posturing, etc.) We spend time on what matters most: our people. Google's CEO said, "If you're offered a seat on a rocket ship, you don't ask what seat. You just get on." Spreetail is most certainly a rocket ship, it's process and practice is excellent but I'll always argue that our greatest competitive advantage will always will be the people that make up our teams. It's an absolute pleasure and privilege to work at this company and I highly recommend it.

Cons

We are doing big, big things with not very many people. That means the work is never done. We know what we've signed up for but if you aren't prepared for late nights, gritty work, I can see how this career would not be for you and that is okay -- it's not for everyone.

Pros

- Autonomy: everyone is given a lot of responsibility and they are trusted to do their work (very little micromanagement) - Everyone shares the same big goals so there's a ton of collaboration and everyone works hard - Casual dress (only rule is no gym attire) - Unique perks like a yearly company incentive trip, all-inclusive resort vacation after three years employment, option for home computer setup and monthly happy hours/family events - Personal development opportunities (can seem a bit disorganized at times though) - Mostly flat organization, very few titles - Open environment and "fun" culture; for example, there's a bar in the office - Large focus on community service and local values

Cons

- Growing pains are evident in some cases. Management (and the company overall) is very young so sometimes big picture plans don't seem to be thought out or communicated clearly - 45 hr minimum work week (depending on your manager, number of hours spent at work each week holds various levels of importance) - Employees are expected to do the jobs of "two, three or four people" as directly quoted from an exec
