Pros

Small startup, around 100-ish team. My work-life balance is perfect, with never any pressure to do things inside of personal time. Excellent execs with full top down transparency. My direct report is fantastic and I have been given real opportunity for growth and lots of in-reach responsibility. Co-founders are amazing people bringing highly skilled and educated backgrounds to the table. They're always interested in what will make the workplace better for me. It's never about them. Not to forget the product we work on is fantastic and we stand by an ever so important mission; Mental Health.

Cons

It's a startup, so it does have growing pains, but this is part of growing with the company to where you want to be professionally and as a company.

Pros

This is the best group of human beings I have ever worked for. I've had the displeasure of not believing in upper management at my former companies but not at all at Spring Health. The leadership team, as well as the team as a whole, are kind-hearted, hard-working people, including the founders (where in most cases, you'd feel a little nervous to approach, but here they make you feel incredibly welcome). I have never had a negative experience here and it's amazing to work with people who agree that mental health should be a main priority. I believe in the mission and fully believe in every person trying to achieve the goal. I understand and empathize with the older reviews regarding their disapproval of the CEO, but she actively works towards being a better person; identifying and remedying any of her blind spots, and for that reason alone I believe in her. Not only that but the company consistently recognizes other topics such as social injustice and that matters a lot to me. Other pros are the flexible PTO plan, good insurance plans and great company culture.

Cons

It's a startup and if you're not accustomed to the startup world, it may be difficult to adjust. What your job description says on your first day will probably evolve pretty quickly and some people don't sign up for that. It also feels like the voices of the diversity and inclusion team are two white women and that's a bit off putting.

Pros

Spring is full of smart and talented people - it is so rewarding to work together to change the mental health space. Everyone genuinely cares about the mission and supporting our members to get better faster. The team also spends time celebrating big wins and acknowledging each others hard work. Things are growing quickly so there are plenty of opportunities to stretch yourself and take on more responsibilities. There are also a lot of new hires that are bringing so much expertise that it is exciting to think about where we are going next.

Cons

Rapid growth brings some pains - it's hard to still know everyone as headcount rises. I don't personally feel like this is a con because I love start ups, but if you don't love constant change, stretch goals, and high speeds, then this company will feel tough.
