Horrific Experience

Pros

I can't think of anything positive that came from my experience with this company aside from making connections with teammates who were equally traumatized. I was actually excited about joining this company in the beginning, however now I feel my time with Spring Health set me back in the progression of my career. I couldn’t wait to be able to quit.

Cons

Absolutely horrific management. You will be micromanaged and feel under the microscope every second of every working hour. Then, when you express concern over feeling micromanaged, you will be gaslit and be given justifications. Management will never admit they are in the wrong. The environment is incredibly toxic and traumatizing. Not once did I feel supported by management. Instead, I felt pushed out for voicing my opinion. This company is so unhealthy when it comes to employee mental health, which is quite ironic. The treatment you receive by management is NOT NORMAL. The expectations set by management are NOT NORMAL and wildly unrealistic. There are plenty of workplaces out there that will treat you 100x better than this one… where you will feel like an actual human being. My advice would be to look anywhere else but here.

Toxic Environment for Creative Professionals

Pros

Pay is good, the cause is good, and many folks I worked with were talented and kind.

Cons

If you're a creative professional who wants to be creative in their work, I would be really wary of working here. The people on the creative team are so talented but they're being worked to the bone working 12 hours a day. Design leadership keeps leaving because it's made clear to them that executive leadership/C-Suite wants to run design like a sweatshop - just churn things out quickly no matter what it does to you. Despite working passionately and long hours each day for a cause I believed in, and implementing as many systems changes to benefit the mental health of my team, I felt degraded in some way nearly every day, and it was made clear to me that my mental health and that of my team wasn't really valued here. My physical and mental health suffered tremendously and I'm really sad that I had to leave, but I had to.

Pros

Great energy at times (at the highs)

Cons

The carousal of ups and downs due to the management style coming directly from the top and admittedly so at a sales kickoff.
