Pros

I had the time of my life here. The mission of this company is ambitious, but these are the people that can make it. Yeah, people. It’s probably the best part of Sprinter Health: you can improve your hard and soft skills every single day and also have fun while doing that. If you are looking for a place to grow, work on a meaningful product with great people, this place is definitely for you.

Cons

The company is growing fast, sometimes it is challenging to keep up with the pace. Salaries are just about average for the area.

Pros

The company's early stage lends itself to lots of opportunities across all business functions, and the rate of learning is phenomenal. The team is filled with talented, enthusiastic, and scrappy members who are the best mentors I have had in my career. It's a joy to come to work every day knowing that you are working on meaningful problems and have the opportunity to build solutions to those problems quickly.

Cons

Understand the nature of an early-stage startup before you join, and ensure it aligns with what you are actually looking for in a job. Part of why the rate of learning and career growth is so high is because every team member is required to take deep ownership of their work and deliver results quickly. This often means dealing with a lot more ambiguity, doing tasks outside the scope of your traditional role, and simply doing a lot more work faster than you would at a larger company. The experiences can be extremely rewarding for those that are willing to put in the work but demands are (reasonably) high. Furthermore, a lot of processes are still being figured out around product development and the team is rapidly evolving. In these environments being able to proactively identify, prioritize, and solve problems independently is a must.

Pros

It's a rare opportunity to work in tech and know that ultimately you are having a direct impact not only on individual patient lives and expanding access to healthcare, but also making a mark on the industry as a whole. Every day, employees at Sprinter Health (both on the technology platform side and clinical side) get to work towards improving patient access to healthcare and having an impact on individual lives who may have slipped through the cracks of our healthcare system. The leadership at Sprinter Health truly are thought leaders in the space and come from incredible backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience and connections to the table. Most importantly, every voice is heard at the company regardless of position, and the leadership team makes a significant effort to ensure that individuals have a seat at the table and their ideas and contributions are celebrated.

Cons

Most of the corporate positions are in-office (Menlo Park), so if a position you are interested in is in-office it's a requirement that you live in or near the area (commutable distance). That being said, the in-office culture is great and there are so many amazing individuals to get to know.
