Good place to work, poor compensation

Pros

I feel I have a healthy work environment where I feel suported. There is a friendly collegiality among professionals that makes work enjoyable.

Cons

Unfortunately a common disappointment shared among different professions in this work place is that the pay is not competitive which creates job dissatisfaction. Using Glassdoor, I discovered that my own position is 23% below market value.

Overall good company to work for. However, some divisions are ones you should never work for even if DESPERATE.

Great health insurance for an affordable deduction. Solid benefits including discounts on many services in the community. Average pay for the community.

Cons

Management who plays favorites. Not interested in employee feedback. Very cliquish environment. No consistency in enforcing the rules and company regulations. No support from HR. Very hard to use vacation & personal time.
