      Pros

      Very reasonable work life balance. Lots of young people in engineering, and in a good spot down town.

      Cons

      Not a lot of trust from managers or leadership. No opportunity to improve your position unless your success immediately benefited another. Unfortunate result of my immediate supervisor.

      Pros

      They do interesting work - I worked in process engineering at one of their Calgary offices, and there was a lot of design work that was directly related to my program. The people were intelligent and hardworking.

      Cons

      I often felt like I was just a nuisance at the company. They gave me some cool things to do but didn't seem to have much interest in actually teaching me anything or getting me involved on anything other than occasional task. Overall nice people, but not exactly the best place to be an intern

      Pros

      Big company with good benefits. There are so many project types and people that lead to a lot of opportunities.

      Cons

      Big company means many layers of management and beurocracy. While you many have a direct supervisor at your local office, there may be other layers above that and this can lead to conflict.
