Pros

Easy to get benefits and free meal/drinks is literally it.

Cons

You can't even afford to live in a one bedroom apartment on your own even on a supervisor's salary after two years in the position. You are understaffed and overworked, sometimes trying to serve >140 per half hour using a ridiculous new "sticker" machine that just churns out orders faster than they can be made... resulting in longer lines of people waiting for drinks, all of whom are blaming and harassing you - and during ALL of this CHAOS you are expected to "be engaging and welcoming, connect with your customers" WHICH IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE NOW. With the majority of people switching to mobile order and pay because of the longer waits the impossible rushes of orders just flood in and because now there's literally no pacing to the ordering system the machine just keeps printing and printing them, all while people are assured via their apps that their order "will be ready in 7-8 minutes." WORSE YET is that people are absolute FOOLS sometimes and don't even read the cups to see if it is their order... and even MORE people literally come in and just look for an order that looks good and steals it, resulting in EVEN MORE chaos and blaming and anger for literally everyone involved. Then enter the drama in Philly... well because of that incident now we are expected to be a public hangout and public restroom (remember, you still can't afford an apartment and food). As a result we constantly have issues with homeless, drug addicts, and transient people coming in, stealing, and making messes which we are expected to clean up. Finding used syringes in the bathroom and sometimes even in the cafe area are commonplace, and occasionally people destroy the bathrooms from filling the toilet with an entire roll of toilet paper (which you then get to glove up and fish out with your hands) to literally defecating on the floor because they are deranged. From the start of my employment to now it has become a terrible place to work where you don't even make a living wage. Absolutely look elsewhere. You will leave every day feeling defeated and not even making enough money to even drink away your sorrows from the day. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Also keep in mind I was hired on as a manager, became Partner of the Quarter in my first 6 months because of my management style and optimism in the face of challenges, acted as "community lead" which manages and does all the volunteer work for our store, and have been charged with literally half of the Store Managers workload including sales projections (pars/food management), receiving the large order every week, and placing the large store order every week. I gave it my best shot and tried to tolerate it but the truth has to come out.

Pros

Decent Health benefits, pay for tuition from online Arizona State, easy work, decent starting place, if you have good management its not bad gig.

Cons

Constantly changing expectations, stupidly busy some times, hard to maintain staff, no one wants to work weekends, if you have crappy management then you can't do anything about crappy shift managers, no one disciplines poor employees, good staff gets taken advantage of
