Pros

Great working environment Perfect job for college Fun, fast-paced Great tips Free pound of coffee each week 30% discount

Cons

Working within the store is great, corporate is kind of a pain. DMs don't understand the pressure on baristas, shift supervisors and Store Managers. Customers are sometimes really rude.

Pros

Decent benefits, able to transfer to many different locations even across states

Cons

Starbucks has become too fast-food. Awful work hours and corporate doesn't seem to know what is going on anymore. District manager gave us quotas for selling beans. People would get in trouble for not making sales quotas of beans. Many employees were secretly buying large quantities of beans to help the managers out.
