Pros

Sometimes awesome coworkers. Some nice customers who could make your day good. Free food, free drinks, raises.

Cons

Drive thru stores are horrible, demanding, and have a high turnover. Way harder than cafe stores with the same pay. If you can choose, work for a cafe. Customers can make your life hellish, especially when you see the same faces every day. Raises arent what they used to be. School reimbursement isnt what it used to be. During health audit season, it is extremely stressful to keep the store spotless 24/7 in fear of the in-company, hardass "health auditors" who want to see you touch absolutely nothing and wash your hands constantly.

Pros

This job was a tremendous development opportunity. I was able to learn a lot about how to lead a team to achieve goals and to manage the financial aspects of a business. Great benefits. Great people.

Cons

Store manager's work is exhausting and never ends. You can expect to spend 50-60 hours a week in your store, and you are always on call. Many people are great at managing this, but I had a hard time moving my brain from work mode to time-with-the-wife mode.
