Pros

- Exposure to cool and cutting edge technologies. - Good environment to learn new skills - Relative freedom to do your work. You will not be micro-managed here. - Good COVID-19 response. Majority of employees are working remotely, the ones that need to go to the office have permission to go to the office.

Cons

- Don't count on promotion or raises. - Don't count on getting noticed or acknowledged for your hard work - No proper resource management. There is always more work than what employees could possibly do. - Always on fire-fighting mode. - Product Development has aggressive, often unachievable schedules. - Management pretends to care about fixing issue (process related, product related, culture related), but all they do is pointless meetings, bunch of surveys and questionnaires, and nothing comes out of them. - Priorities keep shifting everyday. If you wake up with a plan in your head and an idea of what your day is going to look like, the moment you start working, you have to throw that plan out of the window, and engage in whatever thing has the highest priority today that wasn't even on your radar yesterday.

Pros

My direct team was great.

Cons

Work-life balance can be nonexistent depending on time of year, if you work with customers. Unrealistic expectations of employees and at time disjointed. To much office politics to wade through. People are consistently favored or treated better than others due to associations with the Founder/President/CEO or simply because they’ve been around for a long time. You’re expected to put certain people in the organization on a pedestal and worship them and their ideals. At times, cult-like. The company had much better culture a decade ago.
