Micro management is at an all time high. The worst part is, we're years behind other companies who have already tried this and realized it fails. Morale is absolutely god awful in every department.

There is intense pressure to work the claim as far as you can in one touch in a limited amount of time. To achieve the proper "metrics", too many associates will leave many things undone which pushes your wrap time out of compliance if you try to do the right thing. Then you get called out in front of your co-workers at huddle for not meeting expectations. Your name and "bad results" are written in red on a board hanging outside of your manager's cubicle for everyone walking by to see. Never mind that most of your customers rave about the service that you gave them. Never mind that many were ready to switch to a different carrier over bad claim handling, non-caring/rude associates, mistakes, etc. and you saved the customer. You can't have it both ways. Associates are in such a hurry to get out of the claims that they don't do a thorough job. They make gross mistakes. They don't care. Then you try to do the job the right way and are chastised. It's demoralizing and a miserable all around experience. I regret accepting the job offer with every fiber of my being.
