Pros

You can wear what you want to work, Tattoos are okay, Piercings are okay

Cons

Micromanagement no work-life balance rearrangements of our paid time off to include LESS time off than originally presented. State Farm used to be an exciting place to work. Great benefits, great atmosphere. Tenured people are leaving State Farm's DuPont office DAILY. The "new model" is why Geico will soon be the number one auto insurer in America. State Farm has really lost sight on how to be a good employer.

Pros

Great pay, laid back environment. Management is easy to get along with and schedule is Monday through Friday. A lot of time off for sick time if needed. Vacation time incurred on start date. 2 weeks paid vacation

Cons

scheduling is strict. Have to bid for time off and only get 3 days for sick time with child. work environment is very traditional. I wish they encouraged more culture within the company to network and form work relationships outside of your team which is only 8 people at max.

Pros

Really good insurance and compensation is generally good.

Cons

Used to be a good company with lots of opportunities. Not any more. At least not at the Charlottesville location. Overload of work. Ridiculous expectations.
