Pros

Great Benefits , medical and dental. Apparently treated like a human in all other jobs.

Cons

Point system similar to prisons. If you 10 min late 3 points, miss the day 4 points, get to 8 points, written up, 16 can’t promote, 20...out the door. God forbid life happens.

Pros

This used to be a great company to work for. Pension

Cons

This used to be a great company to work for. I thought i would retire here. New pto systems requires you to bid for your time off a year in advance and even if you bid. You likely still wont be approved for it off. If you really need the day or an emergency happens you are charged points. The first few points will get you a bad shift at the next shift bid. 20 points your fired. Live in contant fear of your child getting sick. Daycare issue or weather issue that could potentially gey you fired. Not family oriented at all. There is no work life balance.

Pros

The only pro this company has is that it has a pension. That however, is not enough to have to put up with the slave ship called State Farm.

Cons

This company was amazing before Ed Rust retired. The management really cared for you and the benefits were amazing. I was proud to work at state farm right until they reorganized their company and turned it into the pile of garbage it is now. This company doesn't care if about moral or helping the employee. I was hired there as a bilingual employee with that salary applied. 3 years ago I was forced to sign a document that said the salary given to me can change based on business need because the Spanish differential was not part of your salary. If i didn't sign I would not have a job. Shortly after they stated i was not needed in the spanish line . They lowered my salary immensely stating that i should not have ever used the spanish differential as a means of steady income. Sorry but after 10 years of having said income added to your salary you are bound to use it as a means of income. So I was forced to look for somewhere else which I did find an amazing place to work at. When I handed my resignation I was told to leave at once and was basically treated like I was fired for doing something wrong. Now they have promoted a bunch of my old colleagues only to tell them that they are closing the office and either you move to another state or you will not have a job. I know that it's business nothing personal but you can alreast show some empathy or show some concern for your loyal employees
