Pros

Cons

internship responsibilities were tedious, but youre an intern, so it is understandable that you are not given more challenging projects

Pros

Managers care. Unfortunately that is about as much as I can say. The entire department is highly political and leaves a lot of room for intrepretation.

Cons

Miserable. Does State Street even calculate risk? I am not sure if they know how to do much of anything correclty

Pros

Good work life balance, good place to "start-out". A great amount of entry level opportunities. A vast amount of exposure to multiple asset classes.

Cons

Not enough opportunity to advance. Advanced degrees are not given their true weight. IT is very easy to get "stuck in the rut."
