Pros

The people there are young and you can make some good friends.

Cons

The hours can be long. The pay isn't that great and lunch is very short, if even at all.

Little Room for Growth

Pros

State Street is a great organization to join out of college, providing much needed exposure to a corporate setting. They have an impressive array of technology and a user friendly in-house operating system. The benefits are solid with ample vacation time.

Cons

There is very little room for advancement. Office politics play a pivotable role in advancing. Hard work is not rewarded, as management's goal seems to be keeping that person in their current position to make their own work easier. The day to day is very redundant which hinders career development.

Pros

The benefits are much better than most companies, fair pay. When looking for a new job, it had good name recognition. They have recently made a large push for flexible work arrangements.

Cons

The work tends to be boring and narrowly focused. There are many layers of management, and people tend to fall in love with the prestige of their job titles.
