      Depends on department. Some departments are very good for promotions and recognition with plenty of support to learn and develop.

      Cons

      Other departments there are little thought put on decisions and not enough attention given to the staff.

      state street is an easy place to work for. The management team is solid, respectful and energetic. The dress code is very lenient

      the downside of working at statestreet is upper movement. There also doesn't seem to be real passion in most of the employees
