      Just a glorified maintenance tech

      Maybe you can name some.

      Cons

      You’re treated like “the help.” The team in the office has no respect for maintenace people. When you correct someone that’s in the wrong, they claim they’re uncomfortable around you. Then you’ll receive a separation notice. Your final check will be short, then they’ll argue with you about it until you quote the Fair Labor Standards Act.

      Competitive pay that’s about it.

      Cons

      They like to play favorites, if you aren’t in good with the regional or someone above then you are an outcast. Over worked and never awarded for your hard work. They will let certain people slide on rules within the company but if you are on a managers bad side they will come for your job as you are easily expendable. They only have what’s in the best interest of the company and not for the employees. So much gossip throughout as well. Asked to help out at other properties because of the high turnover rate but are never compensated for travel to and from. Only one good property manager in the region.
