I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this company. The entire management team is fantastic, including my boss, who is amazing. The demeanor of the senior management trickles down to the rest of the employees who are so friendly and helpful. I have never worked at a company where they care so much about their employees. One of the companies mottos is "Value People" and they really do. If you work hard and are dedicated they will help you get to where you want to go in your career. My company and my boss make me want to be the best person and team player that I can be. I have never worked with such a great group of people. Rod Emery, President of Steadfast, takes all new employees out to lunch in small groups. Such a great way to learn about his vision and where the company is going. I cannot say enough great things about this company.

Room for improvement, but will they care enough to listen to their people?

Pros

Working with some great, hardworking people who care about doing a good job, working with some great residents who appreciate your hard work, while pay is very low, the benefits and bonuses are not that bad. I would say this is a good place to start, but not a company you want to work for long term.

Cons

Poor property management, office politics, discrimination based on race and or disability, breakdowns in chain of command resulting in loss of productivity, liability, safety issues, misplaced blame or manufactured blame, management creates an atmosphere which makes you hesitate to offer suggestions or input by insulting your intelligence on a regular basis. While management pushes you to complete training , they give it very little value themselves and do not enforce, they only push it to meet bonus requirements.

Steadfast Management is made of a talented group of highly skilled and thoughtful people who are driven to succeed but also support one another. There is an amazing work/ life balance and a lively and encouraging company culture. The senior management is incredibly helpful and enthusiastic about their work, inspiring other to be the same. They go above and beyond for their employees and have incredibly kind hearts while also offering constructive leadership. Working for Steadfast has truly been a wonderful experience.

Cons

With properties spanning the United States it's difficult to go out and see all the properties.
