      Pros

      Good work balance life - room for promotion and friendly office culture. The company has decent healthcare and extra heathly activities throughout the year.

      Cons

      Lack of training overall and lack of communication between divisions. The business is very competitve - but not proactive on lean manufacturing.

      Great company that suffered a lot through changes

      Pros

      Excellent people to work with. Working with toys is fun work! When I started working for Step2, the atmosphere felt very much like family and we worked as a team. many employee became disillusioned when the company restructured because they also changed leaders at the same time.

      Cons

      Executive changes caused a lot of distress with employees and I believe the company lost many good people. The consistency is no longer there. Changing leadership while also restructuring was difficult for a lot of people and very confusing.

      Pros

      Depending on your position, it can be easy to take time off and no one seems to be watching the clock to see if you're a few minutes late from time to time.

      Cons

      Ownership by a holding company has not been good for Step2. Management is not technologically aware, so decisions aren't being made based off data - which leads to large spending for unprofitable ventures. Employees are not given authority over particular responsibilities, although some have fallen into responsibilities for processes management doesn't even know exist.
